A House Mouse at Christmas and other Stories

Greetings and salutations!

The nights are drawing in and there’s a very real danger of Wham! being heard on the radio once again,… yep, Christmas is coming!

I actually have 3 separate Christmas books available online – through Amazon and direct from PawPrint Press, my self publishing outlet.

First up is A House Mouse at Christmas!

A limited edition, handmade children’s tale, House Mouse is also personalised and customised for whomever reads it.  Once ordered you’ll be sent a personalisation form.  Return it to me and the book will be adapted so that your son, daughter, niece, nephew or partner becomes the hero of the book – along with their friends and pets!

Christmas Tails and The Santa Beneath The Ice

“Christmas Tails” is my feature-length Christmas Story Collection: 4 longform stories in different styles – from Victorian ghost story to Enid Blyton pastiche.  You can buy this on Amazon Kindle AND as a fully-fledged paperback at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Christmas-Tails-Tim-Austin-ebook/dp/B00642GS5E/ and https://www.amazon.co.uk/Christmas-Tails-1-Tim-Austin/dp/1502581345/

“The Santa Beneath The Ice” is an action-packed comic thriller set in turn-of-the-century New York,… with a twist.  Read a snippet and purchase it for your Kindle at https://www.amazon.co.uk/Santa-Beneath-Ice-Keegan-Lestrade-ebook/dp/B0181IF8KE/

Showreel Update, e-book interview & Tim does Facebook!

Okay, lots to get through! First things first, I’ve put an early cut of a brand new showreel online. I’m looking for some feedback on it so please take a look and let me know what you think.

**EDIT** Thanks for all the feedback, you can now view the finished 2012 showreel on my Showreel and Gallery page, above. **

Secondly, I’ve now begun a Facebook page! I know! Well, better late than never. It’s very basic right now but lots more content will be added before Christmas. You can visit the page by clicking here.

New articles, quizzes and a whole heap of spangly, exclusive content will end up on the Facebook page – it really is the quickest way of keeping up with my latest news. “Like” the page now for more projects, articles and mis-adventures!

And finally, Catherine Balavage at Frost Magazine recently interviewed me about my dip into the world of e-book publishing and Christmas Tails. If you’d like to hear more about why I chose to write and publish the stories online, please read the article here.

Christmas Tails

It’s that time of year again; can you feel it in the air? With only 5 weeks to go until the big day, I’ve put together a novella of four short stories to get you in the mood!

It’s an e-book (so no ink and paper involved!) that you can download either directly from me (as a PDF) or buy from the Amazon store for Kindle e-readers and apps.

It may seem odd for an actor to be selling a book through his website but every sale will help me on my way to auditions and castings – as well as providing a 50p donation to the BBC Children in Need appeal.

So click here to visit my Christmas Tails page now. There you’ll be able to buy the book (£1.95 – cracking value!) and view terrific FREE BONUS MATERIAL.

Thanks for your support and enjoy the book!

New VideoTim!

I have now posted 2 new videos on my Youtube channel. The first is the audition piece that I used at the Ambassadors last week; a brand new piece of storytelling with a Christmas theme. Proof that I can tell a Good tale.

The second is a new version of the Henry V piece that I recorded a couple of months back. I wasn’t happy with the original so I took the initiative, while I had the camera (which is on loan), to re-record it. Take a look, let me know what you think. If you like these video’s, please share them as widely as you possibly can.

Enjoy!!
